It began with a National Carpet store in 1981: the year David Lucas opened his doors in the hopes of a successful flooring business that provided superior customer service. After learning about the Carpet One Floor & Home cooperative a couple of years later, David knew the cooperative’s emphasis on value, benefits, and purchasing power aligned with his long-term goals and by 1985, National Carpet officially joined forces with Carpet One. Once the Fort Lowell store proved successful, stores in Green Valley and Oro Valley were opened, with the most recent location opening on River Rd in Tucson.

 

 

One thing that differentiates the Carpet One team is that they are a very family-oriented group, caring deeply for one another: a handful of them have worked together since the very beginning!
